How to Install OpenTTD in Linux

Method 1: Install OpenTTD in Ubuntu Using the Software Center

The first approach of installing OpenTTD is simple and only for Ubuntu users. Open Applications, find Ubuntu’s Software Store, then open the Software Center, as shown in the image below:

Uninstalling OpenTTD from Linux

If OpenTTD was installed using the Ubuntu Software Center, then open it again and click the Installed tab, find OpenTTD, and click the Remove button, as follows:

If OpenTTD was installed using the APT repository, open the terminal and issue the following command to uninstall it:

$ sudo apt remove openttd

And finally, if OpenTTD was installed using the Snap store, use the following command to uninstall it:

$ sudo snap remove openttd
