Zapier is utilized to integrate Salesforce and HubSpot in this guide. Using Zapier is free and simple. No coding is required. We just need one Salesforce account and a HubSpot account.
In this scenario, we create contacts in Salesforce whenevent a contact in HubSpot is added to the “contacts” list. This automation is done through the Zapier tool.
First, we need to set up a contact list in our HubSpot account. Go to the “Contacts” tab and create two contacts with the following details (or details of your own).
We have two contacts. Let’s create a list for these two contacts. Go to the “Contacts” tab again and click on “Lists”.
Now, click the “Create list” button which is used to create the contact list.
Add a name to your list by opting its kind. Let’s choose an active list of a “Contact-based” list and click on “Next”.
Let’s add filters to our list. Choose the “Contact” properties and specify the conditions on the “Create date” field. Select “Today”. You can preview the list and save it.
Now, the “Contacts” list is ready in HubSpot.
Navigate to the following link and choose “Create Salesforce leads from the contacts added to a list on HubSpot” by clicking the “Try it” button. Here, they specify the leads but we will work on the contacts.

- The last name should be the contact’s last name.
- The first name should be contact’s first name.
- Choose the salutation from the given options.
- If your Salesforce contact object holds the record type, it asks the record type.
Test: Test the record and publish Zap.
Let’s check for one record. Open your Salesforce Org and go to the “Contacts” tab. The tested record (contact with marketing record type) is created in Salesforce with the name (first name + last name), account name, and phone.
HubSpot contacts from Salesforce can be created automatically when a new contact is created in Salesforce by integrating Salesforce with HubSpot. Create a new Zap with the following trigger and action.
First, we need to choose the Salesforce account and choose “Contact” as the Salesforce object. Test with any record and close it.
Add your HubSpot account and set the following Salesforce fields under the “Action” part. Test the action and publish the Zap:
Let’s create a contact in Salesforce with the following details:
The previous contact is created in HubSpot.
HubSpot is a CRM platform which connects to companies/organizations that deliver a best-in-class customer experience into one place using the Zapier product. Now, you know how to integrate Salesforce with HubSpot that creates contact in Salesforce from HubSpot and vice versa using the Zapier product.
