Step 1: Open Discord

First, search and launch the “Discord” application on your system using the “Startup” menu:

To make someone Admin, first, you have to create a role for it. To do so, choose the server from the left-side of the Discord screen to make a role. In our case, we will make roles for the “MariKhan’s server”:

Next, select the “Server Settings” option from the opened drop-down menu:

Then, click on the “Roles” option from the available categories:

Now, click on the “Create Role” button inside the “Roles” window:

The “Edit Role” window will appear, inside the “Display” tab, type the role name in the “ROLE NAME” input field and change “ROLE COLOR” and “ROLE ICON” if you want. In our case, we will make an “Admin” role and click on the “Save Changes” button:

Step 5: Set Permissions

Next, click on the “Permissions” option of the “Edit Role” tab, scroll down to the “Advanced Permissions” option, and enable the “Administratortoggle. After doing so, click on the “Save Changes” button as shown in given below image:

Go back to the “Roles” window and check if the newly created “Admin” role is successfully added to the list:

Right-click on the member name which you want to make “Admin”:
