Discord is a widely used application for texting and voice chatting across the world. Discord users can communicate through Direct Messages to other people or can communicate through servers. These servers can have the same name; however, they can be differentiated by their unique Discord ID. Discord ID is the numerical string that makes it distinctive to you and it is used to generate the logs of your activities for future reference and processing.

To find your Discord ID on the Discord desktop application, follow the procedure given below.

Step 1: Open Discord
First, search the “Discord” application on your system utilizing the “Startup” menu and launch it:

Finding the Discord ID, enable the “Developer mode” first. To do so, click on the “User Settings” icon at the bottom:

Then, scroll down through the left-side panel and click on the “Advanced” category from the “APP SETTINGS”:

In the opened “Advanced” window, enable the “Developer Modetoggle and press the “Esc” key to exit:

Step 3: Find member
After doing so, go back to the main screen and click on the required Discord server. In our case, we have selected “MariKhan’s server” and clicked on the “Users” icon in the upper right corner to view the member list:

Next, find the username from the “Members” list and right-click on it:

Now, click on the “Copy ID” option to copy the Discord ID from the opened drop-down menu:

Lastly, press “Ctrl+V” to paste the copied Discord ID anywhere, like MS Office, Notepad, or even in the Discord server message bar:

Now, finding the Discord ID, firstly, enable the “Developer Mode”. To do so, click on your Profile icon that is present on the bottom-right side of the screen:

Then, enable the “Developer Mode” toggle from the “CHAT BEHAVIOR” category:

Return back to the main screen and tap on the required Discord server. In our case, we have selected “MariKhan’s server” for finding the Discord ID of a member:

Next, find the user name from the available Member list and tap on it:

A small pop-up window will now appear on your screen, then tap on the “Copy ID” option of the “DEVELOPER MODE”:
