In shared DaaS instances, the data of each user is generally stored in their home directory on the cloud in an encrypted format. This means that each user can only access their own data in the DaaS instance. Unless a user shares the data with another user through some other means or through a data/file sharing service provided by the DaaS provider, their data is secure.
