Lightworks is the non-linear editing software of digital videos of different formats in real-time. This software was introduced as a free download but now you have to subscribe to its package to use it, but still, they are offering a trial version of the Lightworks for about a month.
There are two main packages of the Lightworks which are known as Lightworks Create ($ 9.99 user/month) and the other is Lightworks PRO ($ 23.99 user/month). There are various differences in the features of both packages; the Pro version contains the plugins of audio and video effects which the Lightworks Create do not contain.

How to install the Lightworks on the Ubuntu 22.04
To install the Lightworks on the Ubuntu 22.04, first we have to visit the official website of the Lightworks and then log in with the account credentials of the LWKS(if you don’t have an account, you can sign up), when you are logged in, click on “Downloads” option located on the left side, and then choose the setup according to your system, like we are choosing the “Linux DEB”:
When the setup is downloaded, navigate to the Downloads directory and list down its contents to confirm the recent download:
After confirmation of the downloaded deb package, we will use the dpkg with the install option “-i”, to install the deb package of the Lightworks:
After the completion of the installation, launch the Lightworks application:
When the application will be launched, some basic configuration steps will have to be followed, in the first step simply click on the “Next” button as it is the welcome screen:
In the next screen, login with your Lightworks account credentials and click on the “Next” button:
Then choose the language, by default it is the “English”:
Then choose the layout of the keyboard and proceed to the next step:
Either choose the Fixed layout or the Flexible, but recommended and by default, we will choose the Fixed layout:
